Spencer Bertrand (class of 2001)
Spencer came into the shelter as a stray in the fall of 2001 from an apartment complex. No one ever claimed him. He was very shy at first but it was clear to me when I first laid eyes on him that he was the cat for me. He is an absolute beautiful Persian who fit into my household purrfectly. Spencer has become my shadow and follows me around the house like a puppy. His fur is so fluffy and soft and it flows ever so gently when he walks. His favorite thing in the whole world is to have his tummy rubbed. He will sit for hours if you tickle his chin and rub his tummy. I can't understand why anyone would have left him behind when they moved but he lucked out by finding SARL and I lucked out by finding him.
