Major Jascowski (Class of 1993)

Major

Back in January of 1993, I adopted a dog from the SARL. We had been looking for a mastiff or similar dog when the SARL contacted us saying they had a giant breed dog for adoption. One look and it was all over. You were all calling him "Pony" because he was so big. We renamed him Major. Later, we came to find out his name had been Boulder. In any case, I came across your web site while searching for different rescue leagues and I thought I'd drop a note to say hello and let you know that Pony/Major is still here. He's about 10 1/2 years old, weighs in at 130 pounds and is still one of the biggest dogs most people have ever seen. Healthwise, he's starting to decline... he has arthritis and severe hip trouble on one side. But sometimes, he acts like a puppy! I've attached a recent photo. Thanks so much for existing and helping animals. Sincerely, Michelle Hahn Jascowski.
